Cape Coral

Live your best life in this coastal paradise

Welcome to Cape Coral

Perched on Florida’s immaculate Gulf Coast, Cape Coral is a vibrant and close-knit community. With more than 400 miles of canals, boating, fishing, and watering spots, Cape Coral offers plenty to do for its nearly 190,000 residents. Nature preserves, beaches, and vast waterfronts make this area spectacularly scenic.

Cape Coral was founded in 1957 when two real estate developers purchased a 100-square-mile piece of land with some partners. The land was then known as Redfish Point. After creating miles upon miles of canals, the area became known as Cape Coral.

Palm tree-lined streets and blue waterways weave their way through this beautifully designed community. The architectural styles of homes are primarily Spanish-style, Contemporary, and Mediterranean.

Although Cape Coral is a city, it has a small-town feel that appeals to retirees and families. Outdoor enthusiasts, as well as individuals who crave a more peaceful lifestyle, also make up part of the city’s demographics.
